Get started with PinsPad
Install the Chrome or Opera extension, organize with categories, and save pins from the web or the app.
How to install the Chrome extension

Get the PinsPad extension
Download the PinsPad extension, then unzip it on your computer. You should see a folder named
pinspad_extension_1_0_0that contains a file namedmanifest.json. -
Open Chrome extensions
In Chrome, go to
chrome://extensions(paste it into the address bar). -
Turn on Developer mode
Use the toggle in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Add the extension
Click Load unpacked, then select the unzipped
pinspad_extension_1_0_0folder (not the ZIP file itself). -
Create an API token
In PinsPad, open Settings (gear icon) → API token (Chrome extension) → Create / renew token. Copy the token immediately; it is shown only once.

Connect the extension
Right-click the PinsPad extension icon → Options. Paste your API token, then click Test connection and Save. The extension connects to pinspad.com automatically.

Save the current tab
Open any page, click the PinsPad extension icon, pick a category, and save. The pin appears in your PinsPad collection.
How to install the Opera extension

Get the PinsPad extension
Download the PinsPad extension (same package as Chrome), then unzip it on your computer. You should see a folder named
pinspad_extension_1_0_0that containsmanifest.json. -
Open Opera extensions
In Opera, go to
opera://extensions(paste it into the address bar). You can also open the menu → Extensions → Extensions. -
Turn on Developer mode
Use the Developer mode toggle on the extensions page.

Add the extension
Click Load unpacked, then select the unzipped
pinspad_extension_1_0_0folder (not the ZIP file itself). -
Create an API token
In PinsPad, open Settings → API token (Chrome extension) → Create / renew token. Copy the token immediately; it is shown only once. The same token works in Opera.

Connect the extension
Right-click the PinsPad extension icon → Options (or open Options from the extensions page). Paste your API token, then click Test connection and Save. The extension connects to pinspad.com automatically.

Pin the icon (optional)
If the icon is hidden, open Opera’s extensions toolbar / Extensions menu and pin PinsPad so it stays visible.

Save the current tab
Open any page, click the PinsPad extension icon, pick a category, and save. The pin appears in your PinsPad collection.
How to add a category

From the category bar
On the home screen, click the + Category chip at the right of the category bar.

Or from Settings
Open Settings → Categories → New category.

Name and color
Enter a name, choose a color, and click Save. New accounts already have seed categories (General, Reading, Shopping, Tools) you can rename or replace.

Reorder
Drag category chips in the bar to change order. The new order is saved automatically.
How to add a pin

From the app
Click New pin in the top bar (or Add new pin on an empty board).

Paste the URL
Enter the link. PinsPad tries to fetch the title, description, and a thumbnail automatically.

Category and note
Pick a category, adjust the title if needed, add an optional note, then click Save.

From Chrome or Opera
With the extension connected, use the popup on the active tab to save without leaving the page.

Find and open
Use search, sort (Newest / Most visited), and density controls to browse. Click a pin thumbnail to open the link; visits are counted for ranking.
