Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using PinsPad (including the Chrome extension), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

PinsPad lets you save and organize web page pins (URL, title, notes, categories, and optional thumbnails) in a personal collection. Features may change as we improve the product. We may suspend or discontinue access when needed for maintenance, security, or abuse prevention.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password and API token secret.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and tokens.
• You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use PinsPad to store or distribute illegal content or to violate others’ rights
• Attempt to break into, overload, or disrupt the service or other users’ accounts
• Scrape or automate access in ways that abuse rate limits or harm the service
• Misrepresent the extension or app as collecting data beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy

You are responsible for the URLs and notes you save. PinsPad does not endorse the third-party sites you pin.

Chrome extension

The extension’s single purpose is to save the current tab to your PinsPad collection. You configure an API token in Options; the extension connects to pinspad.com. Host permissions are limited to that API.

Disclaimer and limitation

PinsPad is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost pins, downtime, third-party site changes, or damages arising from your use of the service, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
